Jeff Fischer (2024 Chair) Jeff Fischer has served as Quality Director for PARIC Corporation throughout the last 12 years. With more than 27 years of experience in the construction industry, Jeff has held several roles including Preconstruction Project Estimator, Project Engineer, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. In Jeff’s current role, he works very closely with all project teams to ensure that all quality process and procedures are being implemented. He also assists PARIC’s Preconstruction department, assisting in thorough plan reviews while focusing on constructability and the prevention of water infiltration/latent defects. He has worked on numerous project types including Healthcare, Industrial, Food and Beverage, Senior Living/Multi-family and Institutional projects. Jeff is a 1996 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at his alma mater. Jeff is currently the Chair of the Building Enclosure Council of St. Louis where he has been a Board member since 2015. His interests include spending time with family, hunting, beekeeping, woodworking and sharing bourbon with friends. |

Katie Stein, RA, CxA+BE, BECxP, LEED AP BD+C (Treasurer) Katie is a licensed Architect with over 18 years of experience in architectural project management. In her role as Project Architect at Woolpert, she has worked closely with public sector clients including the Illinois Capital Development Board. As a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C) and Building Enclosure Process Provider (BECxP) with a Commissioning Authority + Building Enclosure (CxA+BE) certification, Katie brings extensive expertise and thought leadership to every project. Whether individually, in a team setting, or in a management role, she strives to exceed clients’ expectations. She listens to clients’ needs and develops strategies to meet those needs as they relate to their facilities.Previously she has worked as a Building Enclosure Commissioning Process Provider at Sitton Energy Solutions, a Project Manager at Paric Construction and Total Enclosure Solutions, and as an Architect for multiple firms. Corina Moore (2019 Past Chair) Corina Moore began her career in the commercial roofing business in 1981 with Lucas Sales Co., a rep/distribution company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Initially, she served as the company’s receptionist, but quickly rose through the ranks. Throughout the span of her 32 years in the industry, Moore has garnered invaluable experience in several facets of the business. Her financial savvy and genuine care for the customer have propelled her through positions in bookkeeping, customer service, and sales. Moore now applies her vast industrial knowledge to her position as a Carlisle Representative for Roofing and Carlisle Air & Vapor Barriers, wall insulations, and below-grade waterproofing. Brandon G. Fisher, RA, AIA, LEED AP (Secretary) Brandon is a Senior Manager for the Building Science Solutions division of Intertek. He manages and oversees the central midwestern US operations for their St. Louis and Kansas City offices. He is a licensed architect in multiple states and has been in the architectural and construction management industry since 2003. George Crow, AIA, CSI, CCS, LEED AP (Director at large) Registered Architect: Illinois, Maryland, Missouri and TexasSenior Associate for Heitmann & Associates, Inc., Building Enclosure Consultants, St. Louis, Mo.George Crow has 50 years’ experience in planning, designing, detailing, construction management, and implementation and validation of quality construction practices. In his role at Heitmann & Associates, he is often involved in pre-construction reviews of the construction documents for detail interfaces, successful water infiltration management, constructability and maintenance issues. These reviews often include participating in pre-construction coordination meetings and laboratory and field mock up performance testing. Due to the nature of the consulting business, George’s projects vary in size and complexity. In addition, George is past president of the Peoria, Il. and St. Louis, Mo. CSI Chapters, was founding Chair of the Building Enclosure Council-St. Louis, and was on the Masonry Standards Joint Committee for the development of the ACI 530 Building Code Requirements For Masonry Structures for the 2005, 2008, and 2011 code cycles. Mohammad Aleqabi (Director) Mohammad is a certified Project Manager Professional who earned a master degree in Project Management from Washington University in 2011. He is a seasoned manager for IT programs, construction, logistics and operations, pharmaceuticals, and investment advisories, coupled with diverse academic training in computer technologies, engineering, business management, and applied sciences. He has over 11 years of industry experience in building enclosure projects scattered across the US in either leading or supporting over $100M or 1M SQFT of glass. Mohammad currently delivers complex glass integration projects as part of NGG’s new construction portfolio. He worked as NGG’s Quality Assurance Manager overseeing all project execution is to industry standards, and management policies. |
